양화진 선교사묘역

묘역을 보기전, 영상으로 우리나라의 선교역사에 대해 안내말씀이 있었다.

오랜만에 들어보는 아펜셀러목사

성경번역위원회가 있었구나..
그래서 우리가 성경을 볼 수 있게 되었구나..

다, 듣고 나가니, 이렇듯, 그 곳에도 사람들이 무리지어
안내를 받으며...

우리교회에 계시던 이재철목사님께서 십년동안 시무하시다가
약속대로 십년을 채우시곤
얼마전 양화진 선교사묘역안에 있는 백주년기념교회의 목사님으로 가셨다.

그 곳, 창립예배후, 사진찍으러 다시 갔다.
아직 민들레밖에 없고, 척박해보였으나 그 곳에 가니,
웅크렸던 신앙심이 먼저 스르르 일으켜 가슴이 서늘했다

나 살면서 일생은 커녕, 단 하루라도 나를 내놓은 적이 있었던가 묻는다.

양화진 선교사묘지는 지하철 2호선 합정역에서 하차 약 5 분 정도 걸어가시면 됩니다.

이렇게 말씀드리면 좀 이상하지만...
양화진은 결혼 전 저희 부부의 데이트(?) 장소였습니다.
거기 가면 이상하게 마음이 편해지곤 했지요.
비문을 하나씩 읽으면서 외국 땅에 와서 몸을 묻기까지 저들을 붙잡았던 것이 무엇이었을까 생각하곤 했습니다.
지금은 그 마음이 어디론가 가버리고 어떻게 하면 우리 가족 잘 먹고 잘 살까만 생각하는 모습이 부끄럽네요.
그때는 내 한 몸 불사를 그 비전을 그렇게도 찾아헤메이던 날들이 있었는데요... -_-;;
거기에 아기들 묘지가 있어요. 그곳 둘러보면서 참 많은 눈물을 흘렸던 기억이 나네요.
1년도 안 살고 하늘나라로 간 아기들이요.... 그래도 하나님의 놀라운 계획이 그 아기들 안에 있었을 거예요.

비전을 새롭혀야겠어요. ^^
